How to request account deletion
- Open the WorkLink mobile app.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Delete Account and confirm the deletion.
If you cannot access the app, email contact@work-link.ro from the email address linked to your WorkLink account and include "Delete my WorkLink account" in the subject.
Data deleted
When your request is processed, WorkLink deletes or anonymizes account data that is no longer needed to provide the service, including profile details, contact details, uploaded candidate documents, device notification tokens, identity verification session references, and job application data where deletion is legally allowed.
Data we may keep
Some data may be retained when required for legal, tax, accounting, contract, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or regulatory compliance purposes. Retained data is kept only for the period required by those obligations, then deleted or anonymized.
Deleted data may remain in our backups for up to 7 days, after which the backups are permanently removed.
Identity verification data (ID document and selfie) is processed by our provider Didit and kept under its own retention policy.
Delete some data without deleting the account
You can also request deletion or correction of specific personal data by emailing contact@work-link.ro. Some data may need to remain on the account while it is required for active job applications, identity verification, contracts, legal compliance, or platform security.
